Winter Retreat

January 26-28, 2024 | Pomerelle Mountain Resort (ID)

We are looking forward to our two-night trip to Idaho. Our purpose is twofold: (1) This is foremost designed as a spiritual retreat. We intend to invest our time in prayer, singing, and Bible study during the evenings and especially Sunday morning. (2) We’ll also spend considerable time on the mountain, skiing and snowboarding.

To-Do List:

  1. Registration is full! Contact Pastor Daniel for potential openings.

  2. Reserve lift tickets and rentals online at https://www.pomerelle.com.

  3. Submit the RMBC Youth Waiver.

  4. Pack.

  5. Meet at RMBC on Jan 26!

Pomerelle Reservation

  1. Visit https://www.pomerelle.com.

  2. Scroll down on the home page and click “Register.” Parent, enter your information to create a new account (or login to reload your teen’s previous RFID card).

  3. Use their e-store to pre-purchase your teen’s lift ticket, rental, and lessons as applicable. Ensure your purchase date is for the full day on January 27th. During the checkout process, you will have the chance to assign the tickets, rentals, and lessons to the appropriate teen, and it will prompt you to enter their information so they will also have an account. When prompted, accept the RFID card add-on. The RFID card is required on the mountain for rentals, lift-lines, etc. It is reusable upon future Pomerelle visits.

  4. After you confirm your purchase with Pomerelle, please send confirmation to Pastor Daniel that you have pre-purchased.

  5. Please talk to the Moriartys or Pastor Daniel if you have trouble with the Pomerelle e-Store.

Parents' Q&A

Parents' Q&A

March 20th 6-7:15p

I am looking forward to our first “Parents’ Q&A”! I have a few goals for this event. If you have a teen in the Youth Group, have a 6th grader about to enter, or you’re just curious about what RMBC Youth is all about, this event is for you.

  1. Informational: I’d like to give you all opportunity to hear more about what is going on with the Youth Group, offer suggestions, and ask any questions you may have. Come ready with your questions and suggestions! This event will help us prepare the parents of our 6th graders entering Youth Group for the first time this summer as well.

  2. Conversational: Second, my hope is to initiate conversation together about pertinent struggles teenagers in this culture will face. Through mutual conversation, hopefully we can more faithfully guide our children as they navigate enemy territory.

  3. Communal: Finally, I’d like the time to be an encouragement to you as parents as you’re able to fellowship together. I’ll have some refreshments available! We all need a friend
